Bayern Munich are reportedly edging closer to sealing a move for out-of-contract Real Madrid star Lucas Vazquez this summer.
The 29-year-old midfielder's deal with Los Blancos expires at the end of this season with no plan for extension in the pipeline.
Reports in the Spanish capital claims the player is yet to agree to a new deal at the club - leaving the German League champions in pole position to secure his services owing to the ongoing negotiations but no deal has been struck.

Despite being linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, Vazquez still nurses the hope of a new arrangement with the La Liga outfit.
However, he will not rule out a move to the Bundesliga side if the two parties reach a reasonable agreement eventually as reported by Daily Mail quoting Spanish news platform AS.
The publication added that Hansi Flick wants to seal the deal early enough and move on to other things as the tactician has been an admirer of the Spaniard's versatility.
Vazquez has also been seen operating at both right-back and right-winger wings under Zinedine Zidane this season.
Meanwhile, Premier League duo Tottenham and Everton appear interested in the Real Madrid star who has been capped nine times for the Spanish national team.
Jose Mourinho made attempts to lure the midfielder to North London last summer and could look to reignite their interest in the next transfer window.

LaLiga duo Valencia and Sevilla in addition to Serie A pair AC Milan and Napoli have also been touted as potential suitors.
Vazquez has made a total of 237 appearances for Real's first team, scoring 26 goals in the process. His club trophy haul also includes two LaLiga titles and three Champions League crowns.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea midfielder Jorginho would be open to a return to the Italian side, Napoli, should he leave the Blues.
The Italy international joined the West London club in 2018 from Napoli under then manager, Maurizio Sarri.
The 29-year-old has, in recent weeks, been linked with a return to the Diego Armando Maradona-based club to link up with Sarri who has been tipped to replace under-fire boss Gennaro Gattuso.
