Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Benfica centre-forward Goncalo Ramos with the future of France forward Kylian Mbappe uncertain.
Ramos has been on the French club’s radar as well as that of Manchester United after impressing for Portugal at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where he scored three goals.
According to Goal, the Parisians are close to completing a deal for the Portuguese forward that will see them pay €80 million as a transfer fee, their highest fee paid for a player this summer.
Ramos, who is reported to have agreed to personal terms with PSG, will complete his move to the reigning Ligue 1 champions before the end of the week.
