Ousmane Dembele’s agreement to a transfer to French giants Paris Saint-Germain has not been received well by many.
Barcelona club captain, Sergi Roberto and manager, Xavi Hernandez have recently expressed their disdain and disappointment with the player, who has his sights set on life in the French capital.
Amongst the reactions that have trailed Dembele’s decision, it is the resurfacing of comments by former Barcelona forward, Hristo Stoichkov, which has caught the attention of many.

The Barcelona legend had once gone on an astonishing outburst regarding Dembele last year, making a bold claim regarding the forward’s ability.
As quoted by Sportskeeda, the Bulgarian said:
"Dembele, if you don't want to be in Barcelona, at least don't stain the badge. Leave the shirt and say 'ladies and gentlemen, I'm leaving', thank you very much for deceiving people."

The 26-year-old Frenchman's time at Barcelona now looks to be drawing to a close after reports from L'Equipe stated that he has reportedly agreed to a €50 million transfer to PSG.
The forward made 185 appearances across competitions for the Blaugrana, scoring 40 goals and providing 43 assists.
