- The Senegal star had a difficult season at Bayern Munich before they decided to part ways
- Sports Brief has reflected on Mane's past moments where he revealed his selfless nature
Sadio Mane officially sealed his move to Al-Nassr after a disappointing spell in Germany with Bayern Munich.
Mane left Liverpool after the 2022 UEFA Champions League final - which they lost to Real Madrid - and headed for Bavaria with great promise, looking to fill the shoes left by Robert Lewandowski.
A combination of poor form and fitness issues saw the forward fail to fulfil, his dreams of conquering another league and he has now become the latest player to jump on the crazy bandwagon that is the Saudi Pro League.
As he leaves European football, fans will remember the Senegal star for his lung-bursting runs, his awesome shot power, his sick dribbling skills, and perhaps most importantly, his selfless nature.
Sports Brief takes a look at times Mane showed his larger-than-life personality.
1. Mane's apology to Ederson
Manchester City versus Liverpool has become the modern-day Premier League rivalry, with every point being contested fiercely. In 2017, Mane received a straight red card for lunging into Ederson's face with a high boot.
The former Southampton star apologised on social media for causing bodily harm to the Brazilian before going a step further and looking for his number to offer a personal apology, as reported by Sky Sports.
2. When Mane consoled Edouard Mendy
After helping Liverpool beat Chelsea in the 2022 FA Cup final, Mane opted not to celebrate with his teammates straight away but headed over to his international compatriot, Edouard Mendy, to console him.

Three years before the FA Cup final, Mane starred once again in the Super Cup to help the Reds beat the Blues. After he was taken off, he made the day of a ball boy as he called him over and gave him his shirt.
It is one thing to ask a football star for his shirt and have it given to you, but it is a whole different thing to receive it without even asking for it.
4. Mane's charity works in Bambaly
As Sports Brief previously reported, Mane has transformed his childhood village of Bambali, in the northern region of Senegal, with a number of incredible gestures.
He has maintained constant interaction with the 2 000 residents that live in that area and has made significant donations to help improve the conditions of living there.
5. When Mane carried water bottles

FootballMane is the star of the Senegalese national team - fact. And being the star he is, the last thing you would expect him to do is help carry water bottles, yet the forward did just that in 2019.
As he alighted from the team bus, he saw members of staff offloading bottles. As the rest of his teammates passed by, Mane stopped and offered to carry a few crates on his way in.
6. Mane invited fan onto bus
While still on international duty, he spotted his look-alike, who was wearing his Liverpool jersey. Mane asked security to bring the fan to the team bus.
The fan had the opportunity to interact up close not only with the star forward but also other world-beating stars in Aliou Cisse's team.
7. Mane's concern for Ismailla Sarr
After his teammate, Ismailla Sarr, sealed a move to England, Mane was heard asking Troy Deeney - the captain of Watford - to take care of 'his boy'.

8. Mane's celebration with supporter
During the tough Covid-19 lockdown, Mane celebrated a goal against Crystal Palace by kissing his fingers and pointing to the sky in honour of a disabled Liverpool supporter, Lee.
Lee had asked Mane to do that celebration for him the next time he scored in remembrance of his grandfather, who had just passed away.
9. When Mane cleaned a mosque
After a gruelling Premier League game, most players would opt to rest and spend time with their families. However, a 2018 video of Mane cleaning the toilets at a local mosque after beating Leicester surfaced online.
A devoted Muslim himself, Mane was a frequent visitor at the mosque and often helped whenever he could.
10. Mane's kindness to hospital patient
After suffering a suspected concussion during the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations, Mane was treated at a local hospital in Cameroon.

FootballDespite being in pain himself, he made time to see the family next door whose child had been hit by a motorcycle, and who had no way to pay the medical bills. Guess what? Mane settled the patient's bills without thinking twice, as previously reported by Sports Brief.
