Achraf Hakimi is already preparing for life without Kylian Mbappe at Paris Saint-Germain as the Moroccan defender now has a new buddy in Marco Asencio.
Since joining PSG in 2021, Hakimi has formed a special bond with French forward, Mbappe as they share a friendship on and off the pitch, making trips and spending vacations together.
All that is set to change this season as Mbappe now looks set to leave the club after PSG placed the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner on their transfer list following his refusal to renew his contract, Sky Sports reports.
With Mbappe’s future up in the air, Hakimi has shifted to newly signed PSG forward, Marco Asensio, as the two have been seen buddying up during PSG’s preseason tour.
Asensio, who has won four UEFA Champions League titles with Real Madrid, joined the reigning Ligue 1 champions this summer after leaving Los Blancos as a free agent.

Meanwhile, according to Moroccan World News, Achraf Hakimi has stated that Paris Saint-Germain are on the right track following the conclusion of the French champions’ preseason tour of Asia.

Hakimi has had three different coaches since joining PSG in 2021. Mauricio Pochettino and Christophe Galtier were the two previous managers at the club before Enrique joined this summer.
