Sadio Mane has completed a lucrative move to Saudi Pro League side Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr after just one year with German champions Bayern Munich.
The Senegalese left Liverpool last summer after six years and moved to Allianz Arena, but his struggles on the pitch and an incident with teammate Leroy Sane, whom Mane punched in the face, spelt the end.
Sports Brief looks at five first-team exits at Anfield last summer and how they have fared, as first analysed by Planet Football.
1. Sadio Mane
Mane spent six years at Anfield after joining from Southampton in 2016. He formed a feared trio with Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino and delivered the club's first Premier League title in 30 years and reached three UEFA Champions League finals, winning one.
His move to Bayern Munich did not quite click for both parties and after a year, he joined the Saudi money train.
2. Loris Karius
The German goalkeeper never beat the impressions of a disastrous outing at the 2018 Champions League final. The Reds parted ways with him, and he joined Newcastle United. He was in goal for the 2-0 Carabao Cup final loss to Manchester United, with Nick Pope suspended and Martin Dubravka cup-tied. According to The Athletic, he recently extended his contract till the summer of 2024.
3. Divock Origi
The man for the big moments, Origi was pivotal in the 2019 UCL victory run, scoring from the famous corner taken quickly. He left at the end of his contract and joined AC Milan but struggled to adapt, scoring just twice in 27 games. He could be on the move soon with interest from Saudi Arabia and the Premier League.

Football4. Takumi Minamino
The Japanese attacker joined the Anfield outfits in 2020 but struggled to break into the team. He went on loan to Southampton before making a permanent move to AS Monaco but hasn't quite found his rhythm in the French league.
5. Ben Davies
Not to be confused with Tottenham left-back. The English defender was signed as a cover for the injured Virgil van Dijk in 2021 but failed to make it. He was loaned to Sheffield United before sealing a permanent move away to Rangers, where he's gradually retracing his steps.
Liverpool lose millions on Mane
Sports Brief analysed how Liverpool lost millions on Mane's move to Bayern Munich after the forward completed a move away from Germany after just a year.
The Bavarians paid an initial £27.5m for the 31-year-old, with the remaining £7.5m agreed in add-ons. His exit has robbed the club of getting the money since he would not fulfil the bonus conditions.
