Ghana U23 star, Emmanuel Yeboah continued his rich run of goal-scoring form after netting an incredible volley to earn Romanian giants, CFR Cluj, an important point against CS Universitatea Craiova.

The Black Meteors forward acrobatically met a cross from Panagiotis Tachtsidis to cancel an early lead from the visitors at the Stadionul Dr. Constantin Radulescu.

Yeboah was scoring for the second game running in the league after getting one of the goals in the win against UTA Arad last week.

In a video shared on social media, Yeboah spectacularly met a cross from the left to smash home for the equalizer.

The player, affectionately referred to as '99 Ideas', reacted to the team's performance, promising to get back to winning ways in upcoming matches.

"It's unfortunate we could not win this game today. Thank you for your support and amazing cheer up. We hope to win the next game for you guys, see you in the next match," he said after the match, as spotted on the club's Instagram page.

The 20-year-old rejoined his Cluj teammates after an outstanding AFCON U23 tournament, where he scored three goals for the Black Meteors.

Yeboah reveals Gyan inspiration

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Yeboah has revealed that he was inspired after Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan tweeted about him before the Africa U23 Cup of Nations.

Yeboah was by far Ghana's best player at the competition in Morocco, exiting the tournament as joint top scorer with Abdessamad Ezzalzouli.

The CFR Cluj star scored three goals and provided an assist in three matches as the Black Meteors bowed out in the group stage, missing one of the tickets to next summer's Olympic Games.

Yeboah: Brace for Ghana U23

Ghana's U23 team, the Black Meteors are off to a winning start at the Africa U23 Cup of Nations after a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Congo.

Having led the game 3-0 till the 90th minute, Ghana were handed a late scare as the Congolese side scored twice in a minute to pull two goals back.

Following a barren first half, the Black Meteors raced into the lead just five minutes after the break following a brilliant play from the team, which saw Fatawu Issahaku squeeze a pass to second-half substitute Emmanuel Yeboah, who laid the ball to Ernest Nuamah for the opener.
