Ousmane Dembele scored one of the best team goals after sweetly finishing off a move during Barcelona’s El Clasico friendly win against arch-rivals Real Madrid on Saturday.

Barcelona outclassed Real Madrid 3-0 at the home of NFL giants, the Dallas Cowboys, but Dembele stole the show with one of the best goals of the Catalans’ pre-season campaign so far.

Following a beautifully worked freekick inside the fifteenth minute, Dembele finished off a curly screamer from a tight angle after the Real Madrid defence had been caught napping with a nicely worked freekick routine, Goal reports.

Pedri had worked the pass to new summer signing Ilkay Gundogan, who found Dembele running into space inside Los Blancos’ 18-yard area before laying the ball to him.

Further goals from 20-year-old midfielder Fermin Lopez and Ferran Torres ensured Barcelona showed their dominance against their arch-rivals before the kick-off of the 2023/24 La Liga campaign.

Xavi says Dembele is happy

Meanwhile, Xavi has insisted Ousmane Dembele is happy at Barcelona as speculations surround the future of the French forward with Paris Saint-Germain interested in his services, PSG Talk reports.

PSG are set to trigger the forward’s €50million, which will expire on July 31st, as Luis Enrique is a huge admirer of the 27-year-old winger and wants him at the Parc des Princes this season.

If PSG successfully activates Dembele’s release clause, the forward would be entitled to 50 percent of the payment, amounting to €25 million. The remaining 50 percent, also €25 million, would be paid to Barcelona.

Laporta debunks Dembele exit rumours

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona president Joan Laporta has laughed off rumours linking star forward Ousmane Dembele with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Dembele has been one of Barcelona’s stand-out players in recent reasons and have now been linked as the perfect player to replace Kylian Mbappe at PSG if the France forward leaves this summer.

Laporta has insisted Dembele is happy at the Catalan club and will not be leaving anytime, shutting down any rumours of any possible exit.
