FootballSaudi Club Al Hilal Set for Mega Money Move for Victor Osimhen After Kylian Mbappe Snub
- Victor Osimhen is on the radar of Saudi club Al Hilal according to journalist Loic Tanzi
- Following their failure to sign Kylian Mbappe, Al Hilal will now concentrate efforts on Osimhen
- The Super Eagles striker helped Napoli claim the Serie A title last season, scoring 26 league goals
After failing to lure Kylian Mbappe to Saudi Arabia in a deal worth a record-breaking €300million, Al Hilal will now turn their attention to Victor Osimhen.
The Nigerian international has been a major talking point in the summer transfer window as teams make frantic efforts to sign him away from Napoli.
Mbappe snubbed a Saudi delegation to Paris as they had hoped to meet with the French international.
And now L’Équipe journalist Loic Tanzi claims that Al Hilal will concentrate on signing Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.
The former Lille of France striker netted 26 league goals last season, helping the Partenopei win the Scudetto for the first time after over three decades.
Several reports have it that Osimhen is also on the radar of Paris Saint-Germain as they look to recruit an elite number nine, Get Football France reports.
However, should Les Parisiens make an approach for Osimhen, they may run into competition from Al Hilal, who are looking to move quickly to sign Napoli forward.
Osimhen spotted in Paris
Meanwhile, the Nigerian was spotted in Paris, which swells rumours of a move to PSG, even though it is believed the trip is not transfer related.
The French club launched a £42.8m move for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, who is also a target for Manchester United. If the deal is accepted, it would end any potential interest in Osimhen.
Mbappe has been the talk of the town after Al-Hilal sent a world record fee to the French capital club, which was accepted, but the player refused to negotiate despite being offered a total salary of €700m for a year contract.
