FootballFrustrated Cristiano Ronaldo Sprays Water on Cameraman After Al Nassr Draw With Al Shabab, Video
- Cristiano Ronaldo was frustrated after Al-Nassr drew with Al-Shabab in their Arab Club Champions Cup opener
- He appeared to splash some water on a cameraman that was trailing him
- The veteran striker came off the bench but failed to lead his team to victory
Cristiano Ronaldo and Al-Nassr's season began on the wrong foot. They were held to a goalless draw by Al-Shabab Arab Club Champions Cup.
Ronaldo was visibly frustrated as he was spotted spraying water on the cameraman after the conclusion of the match.
Ronaldo is obviously the biggest star in Saudi Arabia, so the cameras are always on the Portuguese striker. This time around, it seems he was not happy with the result and performance of the team.
The cameraman was trailing the 38-year-old as he walked off the pitch after the final whistle, but it seems he wasn't in his best mood. He grabbed a bottle of water, took a sip then sprayed some onto the cameraman as he asked him to leave him alone, per Asharq Al-Awsat.
This is not the first time Ronaldo has expressed his anger after a match. He once shoved a member of an opposition team in Saudi Arabia a few months ago.
How did Al-Nassr perform vs Al-Shabab?
Ronaldo started the game off the bench, considering they had just landed from Japan hours before the match. He came on with 30 minutes left but was unable to lift his side to victory.
Soon after coming on, he scored a stunning goal, but it was ruled out because he was offside. Al-Nassr had just three shots on target and will have to wait for their first win in Group C. He later reacted through his Instagram, saying it was a tough opening game.
They face Tunisian side Monastir on Monday before concluding their group games against Egyptian giants Zamalek.
