Three-time Champions League winner Pepe has revealed that he slept on the same bed with his mother until he turned 18.
The Portugal international who used to be one of the most dreaded defenders in the world leaked his own secret after turning 38 on February 26.
While recounting how he was pampered by his mum as the only child during his early days in Brazil, the ex-Real Madrid star said he was already a grown man before leaving his comfort zone.

Having spent 10 years at the Santiago Bernabeu, Pepe won 13 major titles and he was quoted by Daily Mail telling Portuguese outlet Tribuna Expresso during an interview that:
"Until I came to Portugal, at the age of 17, I slept with my mother, so imagine what it was."
The current Porto star was then asked what his father thought about it, Pepe - who currently stands at 6ft 2in tall - added:
"Hey man, I was already big and I slept with my parents, so I imagine my father would not like to have me there.
"This is interesting: the other day I was talking to my mother and she was telling me that I really liked to run my hand through her hair, take it, and I told her that maybe I already knew it would be a lot of time away from her.

Pepe is one of the few players who stood against Jose Mourinho when he tried humiliating the legendary goalkeeper, however, the player insisted that everything has now been resolved.
"Everything is taken care of, solved, I have no problem with him. I admire him for the work he does, they are situations that happen."
Pepe left Real for Besiktas in 2017 and after spending two years there, he moved back to Portugal where he currently plays for FC Porto.
The defender further stated that he had offers from Premier League clubs two years ago but he decided to return home.
"I could have gone to England. I had clubs that offered me a lot of money, but the opportunity arose to return to Porto - and, at my age, it was either then, or never. I chose to go back to a club I like, where I was treated well, I spoke with Sergio Conceicao."

Legit.ng earlier reported that Juventus were desperate to return to winning ways during their Wednesday night, February 17, trip to Estadio do Dragao, having suffered a defeat in the hands of Napoli at the weekend.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo and co. were unable to leave a mark against the Portuguese giants as they fell to another defeat in just days.
Porto wasted no time to take an early lead during the encounter, with Mehdi Taremi firing the hosts into the lead just a minute into the kickoff.
