PSG Sets One Condition to Allow Marco Verratti's Depature for Saudi Arabia

Paris Saint-Germain and Marco Verratti are set to part ways this summer after 11 years as the Italian midfielder is in talks to join Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

Al Hilal have turned their attention to the 30-year-old midfielder after being turned down by French forward Kylian Mbappe despite offering him a world record offer.

According to Football Italia, negotiations between PSG and Al-Hilal for Verratti are at an advanced stage with the Italian midfielder offered a three-year deal.

PSG are, however, ready to allow Verratti to join the Saudi club but on the condition that Al Hilal up their offer of €30million which has been tabled for the veteran midfielder.

Verratti joined PSG in 2012 with the 30-year-old midfielder winning numerous trophies, including nine Ligue 1 titles with the Parisians in his 11 years at the Parc des Princes.

Al Hilal targeting world-class midfield

Meanwhile, Al Hilal wants to set up a world-class midfield with the addition of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti to their fold this summer, Eurosport reports.

The super-rich Saudi club have already signed Portugal midfielder Ruben Neves from Wolves as well as Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio in a successful transfer window.

With the acquisition of Verratti, Al Hilal will boast of one of the best midfield partnerships in the Saudi Pro League for the 2023/24 football league season.
