Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze has arrived in Italy ahead of a highly anticipated transfer move to Serie A giants AC Milan.
Fans made attempts to catch a glimpse of the incredible winger and possibly take selfies with him before his unveiling by the club.
After weeks of negotiations between Milan and Spanish club Villarreal, an agreement has been reached for the Super Eagles star to join the Italian club in their pre-season activities.
Forbes reports that both clubs agreed on a deal for €20m plus €8m in add-ons for the 24-year-old star who had a stellar season in Spain with Villarreal last season.
Chukwueze will become Milan’s seventh major signing of the summer after the club completed the transfer of Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Marco Sportiello, Tijani Reijnders Luka Romero, and Noah Okafor.
Milan’s new sporting director has his hands full already as Sandro Tonali’s €70m move to Newcastle has given the club more money to operate within the transfer market.
