Bellingham clashes with Martinez
An incident involving Bellingham and Martinez became a major talking point after the duo clashed.
According to ESPN, the heated moment was sparked by Martinez's rash challenge on the England international, who was rightfully aggrieved and decided to confront the Argentine.
It took the intervention of the pair's teammates to calm the storm, with the two separated to allow play to continue.
A section of fans took to social media soon after to call out Martinez, as some argued he should be aware this was just a friendly meeting.

"The guy doesn’t know what friendly matches are!! Did the same thing against Arsenal."
@TheMovieshopke observed:
"Lisandro always plays rough tackles and people assume this for passion."

"Martinez should take it easy. That's Madrid's investment right there."
