The 2-year-old, who has become famous on social media after his parents shared videos of him training to become a footballer at a very tender age, met the Argentina midfielder in the United States. The aspiring footballer is the toast of fans on Tik Tok, with many describing what his parents are doing as 'Project Mbappe'.
During one of their training sessions, Uchendu walked to Fernandez, with whom he shared a priceless moment.
In a video shared on social media that has since gained popularity, Uchendu was spotted playing peek-a-boo with the World Cup winner.
Uchendu has garnered thousands of fans on social media; he has over 50,000 followers on Instagram alone.
Some players have shared his videos while other news networks have spoken to his parents about his potential at his age.
Uchendu and his parents live in Canada but travelled to the United States to watch their favourite team Chelsea play in pre-season friendlies.
