Barcelona players are enjoying their time off the football pitch while on preseason tour of the United States after meeting Brazilian pop star Anitta.
Anitta visited the Barcelona players in Los Angeles after it was announced that the club was affected by a virus and their game against Juventus, as part of the Soccer Champions Tour, had been cancelled.
Barca stars, including Pedri, Alejandro Balde, and Raphinha, have gone viral after footage of them learning a new dance step from Anitta surfaced on the internet.
The Brazilian, who performed alongside Burna Boy in the 2023 UEFA Champions League final, was seen teaching the Barcelona players a new dance move that appeared to intrigue the superstars.
According to HOLA, Anitta will be performing at the SoFi Stadium on Wednesday, July 26, when Barcelona takes on English Premier League club Arsenal.
Anitta offered Barcelona home kit
Meanwhile, Barcelona stars presented Anitta with a personalised home kit of the club when the Brazilian pop star paid a visit to the club’s base during their preseason tour of the USA, Sportskeeda reports.
During the tour, Anitta met Pedri, Gavi, Raphinha, and Alejandro Balde and was given the club's home jersey, which generated a big reaction from Barcelona supporters online.
Due to Barcelona’s partnership with Spotify, Barcelona is expected to have Anitta’s logo on the jersey after her song 'Downtown' amassed an impressive 500 million plays in just over a year.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona have announced the cancellation of their pre-season friendly against Juventus, as several members of their squad have fallen ill with a virus.
