David Beckham was spotted sharing a beautiful moment with Lionel Messi's mother, Celia María Cuccittini, ahead of Inter Miami's clash against Atalanta United on July 25.
Messi was making his second appearance for his new side, days after dazzling on his debut, where he scored a sumptuous free kick in stoppage time to win the game for Inter Miami.
In his latest exploits, the Argentine only needed eight minutes to get his second goal, firing in from close range after his initial effort had hit the woodwork. He then got his brace later when he got to the end of a beautiful cutback from Josef Martinez.
Robert Taylor got a brace for himself as well, as Tata Martino's side ran out 4-0 winners in their second Leagues Cup match.
Messi's mother with Beckham
Just before the game, Beckham warmly embraced Celia, who had made her way to the DRV PNK stadium to watch her son play. Messi's mother was draped in an all-white outfit. She also had a pink flag which appeared to bear the initials and number of her son.
In the video shared by ESPN, Beckham, who is the co-owner of Inter Miami, appears to show Celia where she would sit after having a hearty conversation.

Sports Brief has also reported that Messi produced a special celebration after his second goal in Inter Miami’s 4-0 win over Atlanta United in the Leagues Cup.
