Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen has reportedly not reached an agreement with Napoli chiefs over signing a new contract and this could pave ways for Manchester United and Chelsea who want his services.
Osimhen was a wonderful striker last season for Napoli scoring 26 goals and helping the team to win the Serie A title after 33 years.
The former Lille strongman also recorded his name in the history book as he became the first African to win the Golden Boot award in Italy.
Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis wants Osimhen to remain at the club.

FootballOsimhen's current contract expires in 2025 and rumours have suggested that Napoli's desire to lock in a higher release clause stems from a sell-on fee included in the £70m ($90m) deal the club agreed to sign him from Lille.
According to the reports on GOAL and The Nation, the argument over his release clause could make the Nigerian to leave the club this summer.
Napoli doesn’t want to lose Osimhen for anything other than a profit, having paid Lille around £70m for his services three years ago.
Meanwhile, Osimhen recently returned to training at Napoli after spending his holidays in Lagos.
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how former Premier League player Gabriel Agbonlahor enjoined those in charge of Chelsea to try their best to sign Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this summer claiming that they really need the Super Eagles star.
