FootballMbappe ‘Takes Life Easy’ After Exclusion, Meets and Greets PSG Fans Amid Contract Dispute
- Kylian Mbappe appears to have accepted his faith at PSG
- The 24-year-old was dropped from PSG's squad for their Asian pre-season tour
- He is bent on not extending his current contract, which expires next summer
Kylian Mbappe seems to have accepted PSG's decision to exclude him from their squad for the Japan and South Korea tour with little fuss as the French champions ramp up their pre-season preparations.
Notably, the 24-year-old's name was missing from the 29-man squad heading to Asia, a bold move by the club amid the ongoing contract dispute between PSG and Mbappe.
Mbappe-PSG contract stand-off
It is believed that PSG is convinced Mbappe has reached a preliminary agreement with Real Madrid, leading him to refrain from triggering his one-year contract extension, which is set to expire next summer, Forbes reports.
Due to Kylian's unwavering stance, PSG had no option but to omit him from their preparations for the upcoming season as both parties seek a resolution to the ongoing feud.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Frenchman remains unperturbed by PSG's decision to exclude him from the Asian leg of their pre-season preparations, according to Football Espana.
Mbappe interacts with PSG fans
To add credence to these claims, the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner trained alongside other players who were also left out of the Japan and South Korea tour at the club's base in Poissy.
After going through his training routine, Mbappe, the club's all-time top scorer, took time to greet and interact with some enthusiastic supporters who had gathered at the training base.
His demeanour suggested that he does not appear overly concerned about potentially missing out on an entire season.
