FootballChelsea Fans All Say the Same Thing About Club's New-Look Attack After 4-3 Win Over Brighton
- Mauricio Pochettino saw his Chelsea side claim a 4-3 win over Brighton on Sunday
- One stand out performer from the game was Nicolas Jackson, who was a consistent menace for opponents
- Mykhailo Mudryk was also on the score sheet as he scored his first goal for the club
Chelsea fans are convinced they now have a potent attack after seeing off Brighton in a seven-goal thriller on Sunday, July 23.
The duo of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson proved devastating for the Seagulls as they both found the net in the 4-3 victory.
For Nkunku, it was his second goal in as many games as he found the net with an instinctive finish in the first half.
Mudryk also showed glimpses of his class with a brilliant finish after impressive link up with Nicolas Jackson.
Jackson came on to replace Nkunku, and was quick to make his mark with an assist and a goal which was a thunderous strike in the 76th minute, as reported on SportBible.
The Senegalese looked lively since his introduction, and his performance, coupled with that of Nkunku, left Chelsea fans excited over what was to come in the new season, potentially.
“Jackson, Angelo, Nkunku and Mudryk should be our front 4 next season. I don’t mind if Madueke starts over Angelo as well.” One fans said.
“Jackson, Nkunku and Mudryk all bagging in one game and it’s against those Brighton bastards, this is what you call happiness,” another added.
: “Nkunku instinctual finish to equalise, exactly what Chelsea have been lacking.” Said another fan.
“Said it before and I’ll say it again, Nkunku is the signing of the summer in the PL. He is that good.”
Chelsea’s summer exits
Chelsea has seen a number of superstars exit Stamford Bridge in the summer, including attackers like Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.
Several of the summer exits have moved to Saudi Arabia, as the Blues sought to narrow down their squad to players who were actually part of boss Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.

Sports Brief also reported on a scuffle that erupted during that Arsenal vs Man United game thanks to Lisandro Martinez.
Martinez sparked the melee after producing a crunching tackle on Bukayo Saka.
The tough-tackling Argentinian went flying in and folded Saka in half, much to the displeasure of Martin Odegaard.
Odeegard went on to confront the United defender and gave him a shove to voice before players from both sides, including Mason Mount, got involved.
