Kylian Mbappe holds PSG hierarchy responsible for Champions League setbacks
FootballBayern Munich Target Harry Kane Strongly Warned Against Joining PSG in ‘Famers League’
- Harry Kane has been cautioned against moving to PSG
- Kane is in the final year of his contract with Tottenham Hotspur
- He will not sign a new deal this summer, and has been linked with Bayern Munich
Jamie O'Hara, former midfielder of Tottenham Hotspur, has advised Harry Kane against joining Paris Saint-Germain.
Kane has become a transfer target for PSG, who are looking to strengthen their attacking options after the departure of Lionel Messi and the uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappe's future.
Additionally, the 29-year-old striker is also being pursued by German champions Bayern Munich. However, Manchester United's interest in him has cooled down due to Tottenham's reluctance to sell their prized asset to a Premier League rival.
The England captain's contract with Tottenham is set to expire in the summer of 2024, and the club would prefer to sell him this summer rather than risk losing him for free next year.
In discussing the possibility of Kane making a move to PSG, O'Hara shared with Grosvenor: “Why on earth would he go to PSG?" the talkSPORT pundit quizzed as quoted by Daily Post.
O'Hara didn't hold back his criticism of the French top flight, referring to Ligue 1 as a "farmers' league." He pointed out that PSG has lost essential players, making it an unwise choice for Kane to contemplate a move to Paris.
“He [Kane] is not going to want to go and play in a farmers’ league. Everyone has left, Neymar wants out, Lionel Messi has left, Kylian Mbappe is pulling his hair out and wants to go to Real Madrid.”
Kane will not renew Spurs contract
In bitter-sweet news for PSG, Harry Kane will not sign a new contract with Tottenham this summer.
Regrettably, for the French champions, the Englishman's choice not to renew his deal with Spurs favours Bayern Munich instead.

Rooney names ideal destination for Kane
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Wayne Rooney has named Harry Kane an ideal player for Manchester United to sign to complete their attack and boost their chances of competing next season.
Kane is entering the final year of his contract at Tottenham Hotspur and has yet to agree to another one, with a move away on his mind amid interest from top European clubs.
Rooney has summed up Kane's situation at Tottenham as 'a hostage situation' and revealed why it is difficult to get out. He believes the striker knows he has to leave, and there are trophies out there for him to win.
