Kylian Mbappe again found a way to beat the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup to the headlines with his never-ending transfer saga.
Mbappe put some of Europe’s best teams on high alert in June when he sent a letter to the hierarchy at PSG stating he will not be extending his contract with Paris Saint-Germain from 2024 to 2025.
The French champions bent on him not leaving for free have made clear that the forward need to sign a new deal in the next few weeks or he will be sold.

In an abrupt move late last night, the PSG Star was excluded from the club's pre-season tour list. This act which has since sent a wave through the transfer market has seen loads of interested parties come out to declare their interest.
Despite Real Madrid being the only club with a longstanding interest in the French star, a surprising bid is reported by The Sun to be coming out of Saudi Arabia for the 24-year-old.
Saudi bid for Mbappe
The prospect of Kylian Mbappe leaving for free which appears not to be discarded has seen a new suitor line up for the forward.
According to reports from Foot Mercato, the Saudi government have begun the internal process of putting a deal in place.
The Kingdom are willing to offer the forward a lucrative deal having failed in the race for Lionel Messi.
The media outlet further reports that any move would see Mbappe signed onto the team of Al-Hilal, who the Saudi government see as the league's biggest side.

Underscoring the gravity of the situation involving Mbappe, Al-Khelaifi emphasised that no player holds greater importance than the club itself.
