Paris Saint-Germain have made a notable choice regarding their star forward, Kylian Mbappe.
The club has decided not to include the Frenchman in their squad for the upcoming pre-season tour in Japan as they intensify their preparations for the new season.
Despite his impressive performance, coming off the bench to score in PSG's initial pre-season match against Le Havre on July 21, which resulted in a 2-0 victory with Hugo Ekitike netting the other goal, Mbappe will not be part of the team travelling to Japan.
Why PSG axed Mbappe?
According to GFFN, PSG arrived at the decision to leave their star attacker out of their pre-season tour of Japan on Friday evening.
Multiple reports in France further state that PSG is convinced that the player has a pre-agreement with Real Madrid for a free transfer in 2024 and will put him up for sale, per Reuters.
As a result, the club has notified the France skipper that "those who will not be travelling to Japan are not considered part of the club's future plans."

Meanwhile, PSG President Nasser Al-Khelaifi has been unambiguous with both the player and Sporting Advisor Luis Campos: the player must either extend his contract or be sold this summer.

In a related publication, Sports Brief reported that Paris Saint-Germain has made the decision to list Kylian Mbappe for transfer.
The France captain has been excluded from the squad set to travel to Japan and South Korea, departing this Saturday.
