Paris Saint-Germain’s goalkeeper, Gianluigi Donnaruma and his girlfriend have reportedly become the victims of a burglary attack in France.
The Italian shot-stopper and his girlfriend were reportedly tied up and physically assaulted by several burglars who broke into their Parisian home last night.
According to reports from Actu17, the robbers carted away valuables estimated to be worth around €500 000.
Reports further confirmed by Goal stated that the goalkeeper and his girlfriend escaped and took refuge at a luxury hotel not far from their home at 3:20 am.

Sadly, the Italian and his partner have not been the only victims of what is gradually becoming a wave of attacks on footballers in the French capital.
Other PSG players, current and past, including Angel Di Maria, captain Marquinhos, fellow goalkeeper Sergio Rico, former striker Mauro Icardi, and Chelsea’s Thiago Silva have also been the subjects of robberies at their home while at the French club.
The 24-year-old is understandably in a state of shock, and alongside his partner has been checked into a hospital to receive additional care.
Investigations regarding the robbery have been taken on by the Brigade de répression du banditisme, a division of the Paris Judicial Police, according to reports.
The UEFA Euro 2020 player of the tournament has featured 72 times for the Ligue 1 giants and has 54 international caps to his name with the Italian national team.
