- Al-Hilal returned with a mouthwatering offer for head coach, Marco Silva, forcing a rant from the club owner
Fulham owner, Tony Khan is unhappy with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal after the club's ridiculous attempts to poach striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic and head coach, Marco Silva.
The Saudis have been red hot in the transfer market this summer, poaching some of Europe's aged stars and some players still in their prime as they seek to develop their Professional League.
The Middle Eastern country offers irresistible financial packages to footballers, thus making it an attractive place even for young players with other priorities.
Their latest target is Premier League striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic. Their attempt to poach him has led to an outrageous rant and controversial comparison from the club owner.
Fulham owner slams Saudi's spending
The London club has rejected two bids worth £25m from Al-Hilal and has slapped an asking price of £52m on the Serbian striker if any move is to happen.
According to Sky Sports, Mitrovic is angered by the club's insistence on a high fee, believing he is being priced out of a move, and has sworn never to play for the club again. His agent, Pini Zahavi, convinced him to join the club's pre-season tour reluctantly.
This has led Khan hitting back at the Saudis over their financial muscle flexing. Speaking on The Dan Le Batard Show, he said:
“It’s amazing, and I think if you have enough money, you can get away with anything, including murder, and try to sign up all the top players in the world.”

Mane agrees to Saudi move
Sports Brief also reported that Sadio Mane has agreed to join Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr despite his initial decision to remain at Bayern Munich.
Mane joined Bayern last summer after six years at Liverpool, but it has not quite gone well for both parties, made worse by the Senegalese physically assaulting teammate, Leroy Sane.
