Chelsea fans have described the team selected by Mauricio Pochettino for their US pre-season tour as the 'worst squad in decades.'
The West London club have witnessed a mass exodus of top players this summer, with at least 25 players quitting the club so far.
Several high-profile players have left Stamford Bridge in recent weeks, with the likes of Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, and Mateo Kovacic joining rival Premier League teams.
However, there are those who have elected to seal big-money moves to Saudi Arabia, including N'Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy and Kalidou Koulibaly.

FootballThe absence of the key players left Pochettino with no choice but to name a relatively average squad for the pre-season.
Despite having the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku at his disposal, the Argentine elected not to have the duo on the travelling party.
According to The Sun, the team selected by the ex-Tottenham boss average just 7.6 starts in the Premier League each, with Conor Gallagher and Enzo Fernandez the most senior amongst them.
Raheem Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk are also among the high-profile and familiar names in the team.
To make up for the numbers, Poch included several young players.
Chelsea shared a photo of the squad on the flight, sparking concern amongst fans, who argued there is not enough strength in depth.

"This doesn’t hit like it used to."
@mancityhardcore admitted:
"Even as a rival, I hate to see Chelsea this bad. How the mighty Chelsea have fallen."

Sports Brief reported that Pochettino gave a brilliant response on Romelu Lukaku after being asked about the Belgian striker's situation amidst a plot to move away from Stamford Bridge.
He refused to be drawn into the controversy and outlined a routine of players just arriving for pre-season training coming to his office to say hello, and he expects the same from Lukaku.
