Lucia Loi, the reported ex-fiancee of Marcus Rashford, has for the first time spoken on social media since the reports of her split from the Manchester United star surfaced.

Rashford and Loi are believed to have gone their separate ways last month. The two met while they were teenagers and were in a long-term relationship.

Last year in May, the pacy forward proposed to his high school sweetheart during a romantic getaway in California. After the proposal in May, Loi disappeared from Instagram completely until a day ago when she resurfaced by sharing some beautiful snaps of what appeared to be a vacation.

The 25-year-old shared with her 173,000 followers the photos, which were captioned cryptically:

"I’ve risen from the social media grave and starting new."

Neither she nor Rashford has ever confirmed the breakup rumours, but interestingly enough, they still follow each other on Instagram, which could point to an amicable split. However, the Instagram post where they both confirmed the engagement has since been taken down.

The return of Loi coincided with Rashford signing a new lucrative deal at Manchester United that will see him remain at the club until 2028. The 25-year-old was rewarded for his impressive performances under Erik ten Hag last season with a bumper 375,000 euros weekly contract, as reported by the Mirror.
