New Arsenal signing, Declan Rice has opened up about his angry altercation with new teammate, Eddie Nketiah.
Rice sealed a record move to the Emirates Stadium this summer, ending months of speculation that surrounded his future with West Ham United.
According to Football London, the midfielder became the Gunners' third signing this summer after Kai Havertz's £65m arrival from Chelsea and Jurrien Timber's arrival from Ajax.
Rice's move to Arsenal saw him link up with familiar faces, including national teammates.
Nketiah is among the players Rice has crossed paths with at some point in his career before their reunion at the North London club.
Rice on altercation with Nketiah
Rice and Nketiah were involved in an ugly confrontation at one point.
According to Sportbible, the duo had a bitter exchange back in May 2022 while Rice was still with the Hammers.
However, the England international has come out to reveal that there are no hard feelings between him and Nketiah, despite the exchange.
"I played with Eddie from under-nines to under-14s. We were both released on the same day and it’s crazy where football takes you, your journey," he said.
"He’s made it through the ranks at Arsenal, I made it through the ranks at West Ham. Now we get to link back up again.
"I’ve always loved Eddie, even though we had that little altercation on the pitch before! I’ve always loved him and been close to his family," he added.
