JuThe uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappe's future has reportedly led Paris Saint-Germain to make Dusan Vlahovic their top summer target.

Pe president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, recently acknowledged that he was "shocked" and "disappointed" to learn that Mbappe decided not to extend his current contract past the summer of 2024.

The Ligue 1 champions are reportedly considering selling their €200 million star forward in order to keep him from leaving for free in a year.

However, the 24-year-old is allegedly prepared to sit on the bench for the entirety of next season in order to stay at the club and run down his contract.

Mbappe has been strongly tipped to complete a dream move to Real Madrid either this summer or in 2024, while Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal have also been credited with an interest.

Should Mbappe depart PSG this summer, Le Parisien, via the Daily Mail, reports that the French club has identified Vlahovic as their 'main target'.

The report also refers to Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedulla who claims that PSG have 'made serious contacts' to sign the 23-year-old Serbia international.

PSG could face competition from their former manager Mauricio Pochettino in the race to sign Vlahovic, though, as Chelsea are believed to be interested in the striker and have allegedly seen a £52m bid rejected by Juve.

Juventus director Francesco Calvo stated last month that the Italian giants have no plans to sell Vlahovic, who still has three years remaining on his contract in Turin.
