FootballWomen’s World Cup: Meet Argentine Star Who Has Cr7 Tattoo on Her Leg
- One Argentine player has Cristiano Ronaldo tattooed on her leg
- Yamila Rodriguez is a super fan of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, and recently copied his celebration
- She will be part of Argentina’s squad in the upcoming Women’s World Cup
Cristiano Ronaldo’s influence is so massive that the Portugal superstar has players in Messi’s native country tattooing his face on their body parts.
This is the case with one Yamila Rodriguez, who is a huge admirer of the Al Nassr forward.
Ronaldo and Messi have enjoyed a rivalry that has spanned more than 15 years, although both players are in the twilight days of their careers.
One would expect Messi to have unwavering support from Argentine regarding the infamous GOAT debate, but Yamila bravely stands on the other side of the debate.
In fact, the forward, who plays for Brazilian Série A1 club SE Palmeiras, literally walks around with Ronaldo on her skin as she has an exquisite tattoo of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
As reported on The Sun, Yamila, 25, has the tattoo just below her knee on her left leg.
Below that, she has another tattoo of Cristiano Ronaldo performing the infamous ‘Siiu’ celebration. Talk about admiration.
Argentina is also represented in the young forward’s ink collection as a tattoo of the legendary Diego Maradona on the same leg, but slightly higher.
Maradona, who masterminded Argentina’s 1986 World Cup triumph, is also regarded as one of the greatest football players of all time.
Yamila does Ronaldo’s celebration
The first hint that Yamila was a super Cristiano Ronaldo fan came in February, when she scored in Argentina’s 4-0 win over Chille in a friendly.
After scoring the third goal to end the game as a contest, Yamila opted to earmark her goal with a Ronaldo-like celebration.
After Rodriguez's goal, she stood and placed her hands close to her heart on her chest, copying Ronaldo's 'nap' celebration in the process, as reported on Sports Brief.

Rodriguez and her lasses will be hoping to help Argentina to rare World Cup glory, despite the fact that the country is ranked 28th worldwide.
Their key player is arguably Estefania Banini, who plays for Atletico Madrid in Spain.
In their group, Argentina will face Italy, South Africa and Sweden.
3 teams to keep an eye on
Sports Brief also reported on the top 3 teams to keep an eye on at the Women’s World Cup.
The United States are the two-time defending champions, the only country to win four World Cup titles and they go into the tournament ranked No. 1 on the FIFA world rankings.
France and Nigeria are two other nations that have potential to cause major upsets at the tournament.
