Memphis Depay sent out an interesting message on social media after former Manchester City left back Benjamin Mendy was found not guilty of all charges against him.
After a two and a half year court battle, Mendy was found not guilty by a jury of six men and six women at the Chester Crown Court.
He was initially accused of attempting to have his way with a 24-year old woman at his home two years ago.
The embattled star also faced charges of assaulting another woman, 29, but was cleared of all charges at an earlier trial in January.

FootballAs reported on Sports Brief, Mendy uttered the word “Alhamdullilahi”, in his first public sentiments since he was found not guilty, with his former France teammate Paul Pogba publicly showing his support.
Through his lawyers, the 2018 World Cup winner also issued a statement that read, as per Tribal Football:

"He thanks everyone who has supported him throughout this ordeal and now asks for privacy so he can begin rebuilding his life."
Memphis Depay became the latest to also publicly show support to Mendy, although the winger’s statement on social media also had several other contentious issues which he sought to raise.
“All cases dismissed. So what are we doing now? Who is going to help this brother heal?” His statement read.
