  • Harry Kane is the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer
  • Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Man United are among the clubs he has been linked with
  • The England international has only a year left on his current deal with Tottenham

Tottenham Hotspur talisman Harry Kane will reportedly not push to join Chelsea this summer in a move that would see him reunite with Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino is currently the man in charge of the Stamford Bridge landlords, having taken over this summer following the departure of Frank Lampard, who was the caretaker boss.

The Argentine has since embarked on a summer overhaul that has seen at least 25 players offloaded, with the tactician keen to bring in players who can fit his style of football.

According to Metro UK, Kane is among the players Chelsea are keen on signing this summer, with the club keen to strengthen their attack.

While several other clubs, including Manchester United and Bayern Munich, have been linked with Kane, the presence of Pochettino at Stamford Bridge is believed to have given the west Londoners an edge.

Will Kane join Chelsea?

However, it has now emerged that Kane will not agitate for a move from Tottenham this summer as he prefers to avoid any acrimony that may arise from such a move.

The England international continues to face an uncertain future at the north London club, with reports claiming he could seal a move away.

The 29-year-old has only a year left on his current contract with Spurs, meaning the club risks losing him on a free next summer if they fail to cash in on him now.

Football London claims has been the recipient of a €80million (£68.3million) bid from Bayern Munich this summer.

Despite the huge offer, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is understood not to have any intention of accepting any proposal where Bayern's valuation currently lies.
