Prime Minister Narendra Mod addressed the Indian community in Paris on Thursday, reflecting on India's strong ties with France and highlighting the growing popularity of Kylian Mbappe, the French footballer, among Indian fans.
Narendra Modi said that French superstar Kylian Mbappe has more fans in India than in France.
Modi said that Mbappé is a super hit among young Indian players. He was addressing Indians during his tour of France.

Mbappe’s rise to stardom
Mbappe, 24, shot to fame at AS Monaco during the 2016/17 campaign as an 18-year-old.
He registered 26 goals and 14 assists in just 2633 minutes of action, spread across 44 appearances.
He also led his team to a memorable Ligue 1 triumph and the UEFA Champions League semi-final stage, beating Pep Guardiola's Manchester City on the way.

Sports Brief previously reported Mbappe has been warned by PSG that they may be forced to offload key players if he tries to move to Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
Mbappe sent a letter to PSG last month stating he had no intention of extending his contract, which expires in 2024, meaning he could leave for free next summer - a situation club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is desperate to avoid.
