Kai Havertz's stats from his debut for Arsenal during their pre-season friendly clash against FC Nurnberg have gone viral.

The German winger sealed a sensational move to the Emirates Stadium during the ongoing summer transfer window.

According to Metro UK, the Gunners forked out an eyewatering £65million to land the services of the former Bayer Leverkusen ace.

Haverz's move to Arsenal came at a time the north Londoners are desperate to strengthen their squad in preparation for next season.

Havertz makes Arsenal debut

Mikel Arteta wasted no time handing Havertz his first minutes in an Arsenal shirt, with the Spaniard naming the forward in his squad that played FC Nurnberg on Thursday night.

According to Sportbible, Arteta introduced his new signing into the match after the interval, with the Germany international replacing Reiss Nelson, who started the game.

However, made little to impact in his debut, with a video from his performance going viral.

A section of fans were quick to criticise the Arsenal summer signing, with others suggesting it is still too early to determine if he will flop at the Emirates.

The match ended in a 1-1 draw, with Bukayo Saka the shining light in the Arsenal team.

Jorginho, on the other hand, found himself on the receiving end as his ridiculous own goal cost his side a win.
