Dele Alli's partner Cindy Kimberly has reacted to the football star's heartwrenching tell-it-all interview.
The Englishman has endured both on and off-the-pitch struggles in recent months, with his difficult spell culminating in him checking himself into rehab due to an addiction to sleeping tablets.
According to The Mirror, the former Tottenham Hotspur ace has since opened up on his struggles and even reflected on his traumatic childhood with his birth family before he was adopted as a teenager.
Speaking to Neville on The Overlap, Alli narrated a harrowing account of how he was molested as a six-year-old boy, adding that his birth mother battled an alcohol addiction.
"It is something I haven't really spoken about. There were a few instances. At six, I was molested," the forward revealed, leaving Neville in tears.
Alli's partner shows support
The Everton star's partner, Cindy Kimberely, has now added her voice to the midfielder's emotional interview with the Man United legend.
Cindy took to Instagram in the wake of the interview and posted:
"Proud of you."
"So proud of Dele," she added in a follow-on post to her IG stories.
Cindy and Alli have reportedly been dating since last summer.
Meanwhile, the Englishman has since returned to Everton for pre-season as he hopes to get his football career back on track.
