Scottish giants Rangers have announced the signing of Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun just one year after the Nigerian international left them for Queens Park Rangers where the 35-year-old featured in 13 games.
Leon Balogun did not enjoy his stay at QPR due to a lack of active playing time and also injuries that hindered his progress at the Sky Bet Championship club.
The former Hannover 96 player has now gotten another chance to prove himself in the colours of Rangers where he is not new having previously spent two years at the club.
According to the confirmation by the Nigerian player who posted his unveiling photos on his official Twitter page, Balogun can be seen in a joyous mood as he looks forward to joining the team for a preseason tour.
A report on Daily Post says that the agile defender expressed happiness to be returning to Rangers and promised to give his best to help the team.

“I am just excited, to be honest. It is still a bit unreal, but it is very real, so I am just really really happy to be back at Rangers—it feels like coming home.
“Since I have left, I have always felt a lot of appreciation and love from friends I have made in Glasgow and around the club, and now that I am back, it is nice, to say the least.''
Why Leon Balogun was rejected
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun explained that it took him so long to get another side after leaving Rangers because clubs rejected him due to his age.
The 35-year-old Nigerian left Rangers in June last year after the expiration of his contract featuring for the club for two seasons.
