Mason Mount is set to make his Manchester United debut when they face Leeds United in their first preseason friendly.

Mount, who joined the Red Devils officially last week after weeks of speculation, left his boyhood club Chelsea after failing to agree to new terms.

His new club has flown to Norway for the first leg of their preseason tour as Erik ten Hag looks to fine-tune his squad ahead of next season. Their first opponent is a Leeds side who were recently relegated from top-flight football.

Preferred centre-back pairing Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane will also feature together for the first time over three months after injuries curtailed their seasons.

Manchester United's new goalkeeper

Tom Heaton will be the presumed first-choice goalkeeper as the club looks to bring in Andre Onana as David de Gea's replacement.

Amad Diallo, who impressed on loan at Sunderland last season, will be keen on convincing ten Hag he is ready for a more full-time role.

After Norway, the club will head to Edinburgh, where they will play Lyon before going to the United States for more games, as reported by GOAL.

Full squad to face Leeds.

XI | Heaton; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez, Fernandez; Mainoo, Mount, Hannibal; Amad, Sancho, Forson.

SUBS | Bishop, Kovar, Bennett, Fish, Jurado, Williams, Collyer, Gore, Hansen-Aaroen, Oyedele, Savage, Shoretire, Emeran, Hugill.

Manchester United's most expensive signings

Mason Mount has become the sixth most expensive signing at Manchester United.

The England international swapped Chelsea for the Red Devils this summer in a deal believed to be worth an eyewatering £60m. United paid a relatively lower fee than what a player of Mount's calibre would cost, considering he was to run out of contract at Stamford Bridge next summer.

Despite the huge transfer fee paid by United to acquire Mount, the midfielder is still not among the top five of United's most expensive players.
