Mudryk was initially expected to sign for Arsenal before a sudden twist of events saw the Blues snap him up from Shakhtar Donetsk.

However, the youngster failed to hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge, courting criticism from fans and pundits.

According to The Sun, the Chelsea star managed just one goal in his 17 appearances for the West London club.

Mudryk shows off well-built body

It seems like the ex-Shakhtar Donetsk ace has been putting in the hard work as he bids to justify his huge price tag.

The forward recently showed off a completely transformed body while modelling Chelsea's new retro-themed kit.

In the photos, Mudryk appeared buffed up, sparking reactions from fans.

One joked by describing him as the "Ukrainian adama traore", with another observing, "Mudryk really putting some time into the gym."

The youngster is expected to form an important part of the Chelsea squad under new boss Mauricio Pochettino.

Pochettino took charge of the club in the summer as a permanent replacement for Graham Potter, who was sacked from the club back in February.

Mudryk slams fan

Earlier, Sports Brief reported how Mudryk shut down a fan who tried to advise him as he seeks to impress new Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino.

Mudryk will be among the many Chelsea players desperate for a fresh start after an underwhelming season that saw them finish in 12th place in the Premier League.

The pacy winger arrived at Stamford Bridge with much fanfare, but he is yet to hit the expected heights despite a brilliant cameo against Liverpool on his debut.
