Diaz has shown flashes of his brilliance during his formative years, and Real Madrid took to TikTok to showcase the forward's stellar talents in front of the net.
During his first stint at Real Madrid, Diario AS reported the attacker scored a sublime overhead kick against then-Los Blancos goalkeeper, Kiki Casilla.
Brahim draws Lionel Messi comparison
The Malaga-born forward has been dubbed the 'Messi of Malaga'. Though yet to hit the same heights at 23, Diaz looks set to finally fulfilling his enormous potential.
He had the tag even before he turned 13 and according to Goal, had been courted by Pep Guardiola while he was at Barcelona, going so far as to give the youngster a tour of Camp Nou alongside the Argentine veteran.
La Blaugrana later agreed on a deal with Diaz's father, Sufiel Abdelkader, but Malaga managed to hold onto their most prized protege with the promise of senior football by the age of 16.
Bellingham, Guler shine in training
Alongside Diaz, new signings Jude Bellingham and Arda Guler also showed their quality at the Real Madrid training centre in Valdebebas.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are expected to shine like a million stars this season, given the array of talents the club have assembled. However, they may have a headache filling the void created by the departure of Karim Benzema.
The Italian manager would be sure to bank on the talents of a rejuvenated Diaz and Rodrygo de Goes to fit in the number nine role next season.
