Lovely Moment Al Ittihad Stars Benzema and Kante Link Up With Espirito Santo

Al-Ittihad are winning hearts both on and off the football pitch owing to their acquisition of superstars Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante, and Jota this summer.

All three superstars ended their stint in Europe to link up with the reigning Saudi Pro League champions as pre-season preparations commenced ahead of the 2023/24 season.

A video of Al-Ittihad coach, Nuno Espirito Santo meeting with Benzema, Kante, and Jota in the club’s dressing room has melted hearts across the globe.

Espirito Santo was seen to be delighted to meet the superstars as he gave each one a hug before having a chit-chat with them as they prepared for the upcoming season in Saudi Arabia.

Benzema and Kante were signed by the Saudi giants in free transfers from Real Madrid and Chelsea respectively, while Jota joined from Celtic in a deal worth £25 million.

Pogba to reunite with Benzema?

Meanwhile, Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba could be set for a reunion with French teammates, Benzema and Kante in Saudi Arabia after he visited Al-Ittihad's training ground, Goal reports.

It is as yet unclear if the 30-year-old former Manchester United midfielder intends to pursue a move to the Saudi Pro League or if he is merely assessing the club's interest.

Pogba struggled immensely last season and made just six Serie A appearances for Juventus as he battled a variety of injury woes following his move back to Italy from Manchester United.

Benzema signs for Saudi’s Al-Ittihad

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Real Madrid's Ballon d'Or winner Karim Benzema joined Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia after signing a three-year deal with Al-Ittihad.

Benzema will join his former Real Madrid teammate, Ronaldo in the Gulf kingdom after the five-time world player of the year moved to Al-Nassr from Manchester United following last year's World Cup.

The announcement regarding Benzema came days after Real Madrid said that the 35-year-old forward was leaving the club after 14 seasons.
