- Mudryk will be seeking to impress new manager Mauricio Pochettino heading into a new season
Mykhailo Mudryk has shut down a fan who tried to advise him as he seeks to impress new Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino.
Mudryk will be among the many Chelsea players desperate for a fresh start after an underwhelming season that saw them finish in 12th place in the Premier League.
The pacy winger was bought in January from Shakhtar Donetsk after Chelsea swooped in to steal the transfer from right under Arsenal's nose.
He arrived at Stamford Bridge with much fanfare, but he is yet to hit the expected heights despite a brilliant cameo against Liverpool on his debut.
Mudryk is yet to score in England and only has two assists to his name. The forward is among the players fans hope Pochettino can breathe new life into, given his past work with young players.
Mudryk calls out fan
But even before he officially meets Pochettino, Mudryk has fired a salvo at a fan on Instagram who appeared to advise him on how to improve his game.
The fan, whose username is @generalaktd, asked the Ukrainian to incorporate more turns into his game so as to add more dynamism to his skillset.
"Bro learn to make 360 turns with the ball; it will help u change direction and be unpredictable. Running with the ball in one direction isn’t good enough. Clue," the fan wrote.
However, the 22-year-old was in no mood for the advice and instead fired back:
"Why [haven't] you [won the Ballon] d’Or yet?" Mudryk said, as quoted by Sport Bible.
