FootballTottenham Set to Reject Bayern Munich’s €80M Second Bid for Harry Kane
- Tottenham will not accept Bayern Munich’s second bid for England forward Harry Kane
- The Bundesliga club saw their first bid for Kane rejected by Spurs earlier on prior to this one
- Tottenham have placed a €100m price tag on Kane before any deal can be agreed
Bayern Munich’s bid to sign Harry Kane this summer from Tottenham Hotspur is proving more difficult than what they may have anticipated.
Bayern had an offer of €60m plus add-ons to sign Kane rejected by Tottenham last month. Now the Bundesliga champions have returned with an improved deal.
The Bavarians have made an improved offer of €80m for the 29-year-old forward as they are keen to bring the English forward to the Allianz Arena this summer, Goal reports.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has now revealed that Tottenham are set to reject Bayern Munich’s second bid for Kane as they did not match the club’s valuation for the England forward.
Kane, who has failed to win a single trophy with Spurts, is out of contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in 2024 and is Bayern Munich’s top transfer target this summer.
Tottenham want £100m for Kane
Meanwhile, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy is expected to stand firm in his desire to get £100m as a minimum fee for Harry Kane and will accept nothing less for the striker, Eurosport reports.
Tottenham could risk losing their all-time record goalscorer for free in a year if they fail to get an offer that meets Levy’s valuation of the 29-year-old England forward.
Kane has held positive talks with Bayern over a move to the Bundesliga champions this summer but a deal for the forward could take longer than expected for both parties.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bayern Munich Icon Bastian Schweinsteiger has revealed his take on his former club acquiring the service of Tottenham’s forward Harry Kane.
