Mason Mount has risked incensing Chelsea fans after a video of him engaging with his father after his move to Manchester United emerged.
The midfielder recently completed a £ 60 million move to Old Trafford, effectively ending an 18-year association with Chelsea.
Despite his long-standing association with Chelsea, Mount appears to be happier to be at Manchester United, if a clip doing rounds on social media is anything to go by.
In the video shared by @UtdPlug, Mount is sitting in the home dressing room at Old Trafford, and his father revealed he brought him there as a little boy.

Football“Mason...this dressing room man..home mate, HOME,” Mount’s dad Tony can be heard saying.
. “Who would have thought aye, when I brought you up here as a little boy.”
Interestingly, Mount does not play down his father’s comments, as he adds “I know. Special isn't it.”
Chelsea fans who watched the clip were quick to fault Mount for an alleged ‘lack of loyalty’ to a club he spent most of his life.
One fan alluded to Thibaut Cortois’ controversial Chelsea exit by saying:
"He’s now officially in the Courtois books by the way."
Mount has signed a contract to stay at United until the end of the 2027/28 season, with an option to extend it for a further year.
The midfielder, whose talent is undeniable, said in his first interview as a United player that the move from Stamford Bridge was necessary at this point in his career.
He also highlighted how a talk with Erik Ten Hag influenced his decision to join the Red Devils.

Since making his senior debut in 2019, Mount scored 33 goals in 195 appearances for Chelsea.
Sports Brief also reported on a light incident involving Mason Mount and his new teammate Lisandro Martinez.
Martinez, who is just returning from a long-term injury, was all smiles as he greeted the midfielder, and made a reference to the pair’s rivalry in the past.
Mount and Martinez squared up in October 2022, when Manchester United came up against Chelsea in the Premier League.
