Real Madrid decline Mbappe's request for number 7 shirt to keep Vinicius happy
FootballMbappe Removed From PSG Poster for Game vs Ronaldo’s Al Nassr
- Kylian Mbappe is conspicuously absent from PSG's promotional materials
- The Frenchman is not part of the advertising for a friendly versus Al-Nassr
- Mbappe has reportedly enraged PSG's board by refusing to extend his deal
The future of Kylian Mbappe is still uncertain, and every word or action the player makes is deeply scrutinised before being splashed across the headlines.
The latest twist in the tale is the Frenchman not featuring in Paris Saint-Germain's poster for their upcoming friendly against Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr in Japan on July 25.
As reported by Madrid Zone, Mbappe's face was formerly the main feature of the promotional material published by the Parisians. However, it seems he has now been removed.
Per the Spanish publication, the 24-year-old will resume training with PSG on July 17, meaning the French captain will not be match fit to play a role in the upcoming friendly.
Meanwhile, Diario AS reports that Mbappe does feature prominently on another PSG poster - and as the main star. His teammates, including Neymar Junior and Presnel Kimpembe, stand alongside him.
The reports further state that if the Parisians knew the French forward's possible exit was happening before the Asian tour began, he would certainly not appear on any material related to the club.
Therefore, the lack of pre-game preparation time in the hectic schedule of Mbappe, leading up to the game against Ronaldo and Al-Nassr, was taken to be the reason for his absence from the post.
The Frenchman has been on holiday across the globe recently, including the USA and Cameroon.
PSG stars furious with Mbappe
Sports Brief also reported on six PSG players apparently voicing their concerns to club president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, about remarks by Mbappe during an interview.
The wantaway star appeared to imply he would not win the UEFA Champions League with the Parisians, which fueled rumours he might leave the team this summer.
According to Sky Sports, six players have reportedly complained to Al-Khelaifi about the quotes. Two of these players only joined the Ligue 1 champions this summer.
