AS Roma boss Jose Mourinho has broken his silence on reports Chelsea are looking to sign Paulo Dybala this summer.
Dybala has spent just one season with Roma, having joined them in the summer of 2022 from Serie A rivals Juventus.
Reports claim the Blues are leading the race to sign the Argentine forward in the coming weeks.
According to Football London, Mauricio Pochettino is keen to strengthen his frontline following the departure of Kai Havertz, who sealed a stunning move to Arsenal.
Chelsea have already signed Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson this summer but are keen to bolster their squad, with Dybala said to be top on their transfer wishlist.
Mourinho reacts to Dybala Chelsea links
On Saturday, Mourinho asked about the clause in Dybala’s contract following Chelsea’s interest.
However, Metro UK reports that the Portuguese boss remained coy about the forward's future at Roma.
"I don’t know anything about his contract," he said.
"But obviously, I talk to Paulo like I do with all of my players," he added.
Dybala played an influential role in Mourinho's squad last season, with the Argentine helping Roma reach the Europa League final, where they lost to Sevilla.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has disclosed that he has spoken to Paulo Dybala about joining the Blues this summer.
Dybala has widely been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, with Mauricio Pochettino keen to strengthen his frontline.
