FootballPSG War Explodes As 6 Players Contact Club President to Report Kylian Mbappe
- Kylian Mbappe's latest interview have disgruntled some of his PSG teammates
- The France captain made some comments about PSG which have come across as controversial
- His future at PSG remains in doubt with interest from Real Madrid
Six Paris Saint-Germain players have reportedly voiced concerns to President Nasser Al-Khelaifi about remarks made by Kylian Mbappe during a media interview in France.
Mbappe appeared to imply that he would not win the Champions League with the Parisians, which fueled rumours that he might leave the team this summer.
The 24-year-old attacker's contract is up in a year, but he has previously said he intends to stay for the rest of it.
However, six years after spending a staggering £165 million to acquire the then-teenager, Daily Star reported that PSG does not want to lose their star player for nothing.
Mbappe, who has recently seemed to hint that he might leave for a team that he thinks can win Europe's premier club competition, has been linked to Real Madrid.
Mbappe told France Football, via Express Sports:
"I don't know what PSG are missing to win the Champions League, it's not a question for me. You have to talk to the people who make the team, who organise the squad, who build this club.
“I just try to do my job as well as possible. I was the best player, top scorer for the fifth year in a row in Ligue 1. Sometimes in football you face what is called a glass ceiling. That's why it's not a big question for me, it's for those at the top.”
PSG stars unhappy with Mbappe comments
According to Sky Sports, six players have now reportedly complained to president Al-Khelaifi about the quotes. Reportedly, two of them have only joined the Ligue 1 champions this summer.

FootballThe report further states that one of the players who was offended by Mbappe's interview with France Football interview told Al-Khelaïfi that the Frenchman's words are “an insult to the club”.
PSG sends warning to Mbappe
Sports Brief previously reported Mbappe has been warned by PSG that they may be forced to offload key players if he tries to move to Real Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
Mbappe sent a letter to PSG last month stating he had no intention of extending his contract, which expires in 2024, meaning he could leave for free next summer - a situation club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is desperate to avoid.
