- Paris Saint-Germain are planning a stunning swoop for Real Madrid star Thibaut Courtois
- Courtois has emerged as the top target for the Parisians as they plan to revamp their squad
- The Belgian goalkeeper is currently tied to Real Madrid until 2026 when his contract expires
Paris Saint-Germain are ready for a massive revamp of their squad ahead of the 2023/24 football season, and their goalkeeping department is set for a shake-up.
The Ligue 1 champions do not believe that Gianluigi Donnarumma is strong enough to be their number one between the posts and have identified Real Madrid goalie Thibaut Courtois as their preferred target.
According to Sportskeeda, PSG have now offered Los Blancos a blank cheque for the Belgian goalkeeper who still has a contract with the Spanish giants until 2026.
Courtois currently has a release clause of €700million, but it is certain the Parisians will not be willing to pay that high an amount to sign the Belgian goalkeeper who was voted as the best goalie for 2022.
Belgium's number one goalie played 36 La Liga games last season for Real Madrid, keeping a total of 16 clean sheets for Los Blancos.
PSG ignite Kolo Muani pursuit
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain have now set their sights on signing Eintracht Frankfurt striker and reported Manchester United target Randal Kolo Muani this summer, The Peoples Person reports.
The Bundesliga club have revealed that Kolo Muani will only be made available for €100m, a sum PSG will be unwilling to meet as they do not rate the player that high in their books.
The French forward has become a key target for the Ligue 1 champions as they prepare to lose either Kylian Mbappe or Neymar this summer.
