An awesome image has emerged on social media in which Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu was spotted hosting his parents in Southampton and also taking them on a shopping spree ahead of the upcoming League season.
The prayers and expectations of all parents in the world are to see their children grow up and succeed, and Onuachu's father and mum must be proud of their son.
Gone are the days when Paul Onuachu used to play football in the streets of Owerri in Imo State. Today, the 29-year-old is one of the biggest Nigerian players.
The former FC Ebedei player joined Southampton in January this year, but things did not end up well as the club were relegated.
According to the photo spotted on Twitter, Onuachu was seen sitting down and posing with his parents in a nice environment.
How it started for Onuachu
Onuachu started his football career at FC Ebedei in 2010 and was there for two years before moving to Danish side Midtjylland, according to Nation.
Onuachu helped Midtjylland to the Danish Superliga title twice, in 2015 and 2018, and scored the winner against Manchester United in Midtjylland's home last-32 first-leg of the 2015-16 UEFA Europa League.
He was not among the Super Eagles players who played against Sierra Leone in the last African Cup of Nations qualifying tie.
