Alejandro Balde is enjoying his vacation in some style as the Barcelona defender has been spotted hanging out with popular Nigerian singer Davido in Portugal.

After winning the La Liga title with Barcelona, the 19-year-old defender travelled to Guinea Bissau before embarking on a trip to Portugal for the 2023 Afro Nation carnival.

Balde would later post on his Instagram his excitement at meeting Davido and how he and Barcelona teammate Ansu Fati did the “Unavailable Challenge” with the Afrobeat superstar.

The video sparked a tremendous reaction from fans of the Barcelona star, who were delighted to see him having a nice time off the pitch after having a remarkable debut season for the Catalan giants.

Balde made his senior debut for Barcelona in September after coming on as a second-half substitute for Jordi Alba in their Champions League defeat to eternal rivals Bayern Munich.

Davido performs at Afro Nation Portugal

Meanwhile, Daily Post reports that Davido was among the biggest music artists to perform on Thursday night at the 2023 Afro Nation Festival in Portugal.

The famous Nigerian Afrobeat musician performed some of his hit songs at the festival’s grand finale, which started on June 28 and ended on Friday 30.

Davido joined other Nigerian artists such as Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, and Asake, who had earlier performed at the Afro Nation festival on Wednesday.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Nigerian singer, Rema left Barcelona stars including Ousmane Dembele and Alejandro Balde dancing following his visit to Camp Nou.

The talented musician met the players of the Catalan giants after one of their training sessions, taking photos with the team and also receiving a customised jersey from the club.

Rema has been in Spain and performed at a concert in Barcelona to promote his work, following the huge success of hit record, Calm Down, which features American singer, Selena Gomez.
