FootballCristiano Ronaldo Turns Heads with His Explosive Sprinting Routine in Summer Workout
Cristiano Ronaldo has displayed his ripped physique as he puts himself through demanding sprint workouts.
The 38-year-old relocated to Saudi Arabia in December after having his contract with Manchester United terminated.
The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has since paved the way for other prominent athletes to move to the Gulf State.
Few players, including Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and Karim Benzema, have chosen to leave Europe for Saudi Arabia.
And with more prominent names come bigger expectations; however, Ronaldo hasn't been deterred by this.
If anything, it has only motivated the former Real Madrid and Manchester United superstar, as he is already putting his body through its paces, according to TalkSPORT.
The Portugal cult hero shared updates on his progress, which included incredible sprint practice in the Saudi desert, on social media.
"No pain no gain," the first story is captioned on Instagram.
The veteran striker's physique is undeniable, despite being close to 40 years old, in the video he posted in his subsequent story of himself without a shirt.
Ronaldo continues to serve as a reminder for every footballer who wants to maintain peak physical condition.
Wilfried Bony - 2 (Swansea)
The Ivorian, a pure striker, chose to wear the number 2 jersey despite the club having a number 9 jersey available, which caused outrage among Swansea fans .
Bony has a justification for his selection of the number, in his defence. In a post-unveiling interview, Bony stated that he chose the number because it is his second time working for the club.
It holds special significance for me. I wanted to wear number two because this is my second stint at the club and I want to contribute more to the team, the striker was quoted as saying.
